AILERNOVA — AI-Powered CBSE Learning Platform

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, “your”) and AILERNOVA Education Private Limited (“AILERNOVA”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the owner and operator of AILERNOVA.com. These Terms govern your access to and use of the AILERNOVA platform, including all AI-generated CBSE-aligned educational videos, Life Skills content, assessments, interactive tools, and any other features or services made available through our website, mobile application, or any other digital medium (collectively referred to as “Services” or “Platform”).

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS: AILERNOVA is an educational platform designed to serve students from Grade 3 onwards, which includes children as young as 8 years of age. If a student using or registering for our platform is below the age of 18 years, their parent or legal guardian must read, understand, and explicitly accept these Terms on the student’s behalf before access is granted. Continued use of the platform by a minor constitutes the parent’s or guardian’s acceptance of these Terms and ongoing responsibility for the student’s usage.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using our Platform and Services.

1. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

“AILERNOVA” refers to AILERNOVA Education Private Limited, the company operating the AILERNOVA.com platform.
“Platform” or “Services” refers to the website, mobile applications, content, tools, and all associated services provided by AILERNOVA.
“User” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including students, parents, guardians, and educators.
“Student User” refers to a student of Grade 3 or above who uses the Platform for educational purposes.
“Minor” refers to any individual below the age of 18 years.
“Parent/Guardian” refers to the parent or legal guardian of a Minor who is responsible for the Minor’s use of the Platform.
“Account” refers to a registered user profile created on the Platform.
“Content” refers to all educational videos, audio, text, assessments, Life Skills materials, and any other material available on the Platform.
“AI-Generated Content” refers to educational material, videos, or other content produced using artificial intelligence systems operated by AILERNOVA.
“Subscription” refers to a paid plan that grants access to premium features or content on the Platform.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

2.1 Minimum Age

The Platform is designed for students from Grade 3 onwards, which corresponds to students approximately 8 years of age and above. AILERNOVA does not knowingly permit children below 8 years of age or below Grade 3 to use the Platform independently.

2.2 Mandatory Parental/Guardian Consent for Minors

Because the Platform serves students as young as 8 years of age, all of whom are minors, the following requirements apply to every student user under the age of 18:

A parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms & Conditions before the student creates an account or begins using the Platform.
The parent or guardian must provide explicit consent for their child’s registration, access, and usage of our Services.
The parent or guardian must supervise and monitor the student’s usage of the Platform to ensure appropriate and responsible use.
The parent or guardian is jointly responsible with the student for all activities conducted under the student’s account.
If at any time the parent or guardian wishes to revoke consent, they must notify us immediately at admin@ailernova.com and request account deletion.

2.3 Educator and Institutional Access

Teachers, educators, academic coaches, and educational institutions may access the Platform for the purpose of assigning content, monitoring student progress, or using AILERNOVA as a supplementary classroom tool. By doing so, educational institutions agree:

To obtain and maintain parental/guardian consent for all student users under their supervision before granting access.
To use the Platform solely for lawful educational purposes.
To be responsible for ensuring appropriate usage of the Platform within their institution.

2.4 Adult Users

Adult users (18 years and above), including parents, guardians, educators, or independent learners, may register and use the Platform directly and are solely responsible for their own compliance with these Terms.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Registration Requirements

To access most features of our Platform, you must create an account. During registration, you agree to provide:

Full legal name of the student.
Date of birth and current school grade (Grade 3 or above).
A valid parent or guardian email address and phone number (mandatory for all minor users).
Name and location of the educational institution (if applicable).
A secure password and any other information requested during the registration process.

You agree that all information provided during registration is accurate, current, and complete. Providing false information is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

3.2 Account Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username and password).
You must not share your account credentials with any third party.
You must immediately notify us at admin@ailernova.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
AILERNOVA will not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain credential security.
Each individual student or user must maintain a separate account. Sharing accounts across multiple users is not permitted.

3.3 Account for Minors — Special Provisions

All accounts for students in Grade 3 through Grade 12 must be linked to a verified parent or guardian contact.
Parents and guardians will receive periodic updates regarding their child’s account activity, learning progress, and usage reports.
Parents and guardians may request access to view, modify, or delete their child’s account information at any time by contacting us.
AILERNOVA reserves the right to verify parental consent at any point and may suspend an account pending verification if required.

3.4 Account Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at admin@ailernova.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease and we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Description of Services

4.1 Core Educational Services

AILERNOVA offers the following core services through its Platform:

AI-Generated CBSE-Aligned Video Lessons: Comprehensive, curriculum-mapped video lessons for students from Grade 3 to Grade 12, covering all major CBSE subjects including Mathematics, Science, Social Science, English, Hindi, and more.
Life Skills Programs: Structured programs designed to develop essential life competencies in students, including critical thinking, emotional intelligence, communication skills, creativity, decision-making, and social responsibility.
Interactive Assessments and Quizzes: Chapter-wise and topic-wise quizzes, practice tests, and mock examinations aligned with CBSE examination patterns to help students evaluate their understanding and exam readiness.
Personalized Learning Pathways: AI-driven recommendations that adapt to a student’s individual learning pace, strengths, and areas of improvement to create a customized learning journey.
Progress Tracking and Reports: Detailed performance reports accessible to both students and parents/guardians to track learning milestones, quiz scores, time spent, and overall progress.
Supplementary Learning Resources: Additional notes, summaries, mind maps, flashcards, and reference materials to support holistic learning.

4.2 Grade-Specific Content

Our content is specifically curated and organized by grade level, starting from Grade 3, to ensure age-appropriateness, curriculum relevance, and pedagogical effectiveness. All content is reviewed and validated against official CBSE syllabi applicable at the time of creation.

4.3 Service Availability

Our Services are available through web browsers on desktop and laptop computers, as well as through mobile-compatible interfaces. We strive to maintain 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

4.4 Modifications to Services

AILERNOVA reserves the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time, with or without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to inform users of significant changes through email notifications or platform announcements.

5. Course Plans and Payment Terms

5.1 Free and Paid Content

AILERNOVA may offer a combination of free and paid (premium) content. Free content is accessible without any payment, while paid courses require a one-time purchase to access the full content.

5.2 Course Fees and Billing

Course fees are clearly displayed on our pricing page and are subject to applicable taxes under Indian law (including GST, where applicable).

All courses are offered on a one-time payment basis. Once purchased, users are granted access to the selected course for the specified validity period.

The validity of course access is aligned with the academic year, defined as 1st April to 31st March, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.

All payments must be made through our secure and authorised payment gateways. AILERNOVA PRIVATE LIMITED does not store raw payment card information on its servers.

Access to the course will be provided only after successful payment confirmation. Users are responsible for providing accurate payment details.

Any extension of course access, user licence, or related services shall be at the sole discretion of AILERNOVA PRIVATE LIMITED and governed by applicable terms and conditions.

5.3 Refund Policy

All course purchases are generally non-refundable, as they are digital products delivered instantly upon successful payment.

However, if you believe you have been incorrectly charged or have faced a technical issue preventing access, you must notify us within 7 days of the transaction at admin@ailernova.com. We will review and resolve the issue on a case-by-case basis.

AILERNOVA reserves the right to offer refunds or credits at its sole discretion, in accordance with applicable Indian laws and consumer protection regulations.

5.4 Price Changes

AILERNOVA reserves the right to modify course pricing at any time without prior notice. However, any price changes will not affect courses that have already been purchased.

5.5 No Subscription or Auto-Renewal

AILERNOVA does not operate on a subscription-based model. All course purchases are one-time payments, and there is no auto-renewal or recurring billing.

6. Child Safety and Safe Learning Environment

The safety, dignity, and well-being of our student users — especially those in the 8–18 age group — is of paramount importance to AILERNOVA. We maintain strict standards to ensure that our Platform remains a safe, respectful, and supportive educational space.

6.1 Child-Safe Content Standards

All content on the Platform, including AI-generated videos, quizzes, and supplementary materials, is reviewed to ensure it is age-appropriate, educationally sound, and free from harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material.
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any content that is violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful to children.
Our AI content generation systems are configured with child-safety parameters to prevent the production of content that is inappropriate for the student age groups we serve.

6.2 No Direct Communication with Strangers

AILERNOVA does not facilitate direct messaging, chat, or communication between unrelated users on the Platform.
Any communication features, if offered, are strictly moderated and limited to supervised educational interactions.
Students are not required to or expected to share personal information with other users on the Platform.

6.3 Reporting and Response

If you encounter any content, interaction, or activity on the Platform that you believe is inappropriate, harmful, or unsafe — particularly involving children — you must immediately report it to admin@ailernova.com.
AILERNOVA will investigate all such reports promptly and take necessary corrective action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement authorities.

6.4 Parental Oversight

Parents and guardians are encouraged to actively supervise and remain engaged with their child’s usage of the Platform.
We recommend that younger students (Grade 3 to Grade 5) use the Platform under direct parental supervision.
Parents may access their child’s learning reports, activity logs, and account settings at any time through the parent dashboard or by contacting us.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 AILERNOVA’s Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and technology on the AILERNOVA Platform — including but not limited to AI-generated video lessons, Life Skills programs, assessments, course materials, graphic designs, text, audio, software code, user interface, logos, trademarks, trade names, and branding — are the exclusive intellectual property of AILERNOVA Education Private Limited or its duly licensed content partners. All rights are reserved.

This content is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India), the Trade Marks Act, 1999 (India), the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), and applicable international intellectual property treaties.

7.2 Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AILERNOVA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

Access and view content on the Platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
Download content expressly made available for offline viewing, using the Platform’s official download feature (where available).

7.3 Prohibited Uses

You expressly agree not to:

Copy, reproduce, duplicate, republish, upload, transmit, or distribute any content from the Platform without prior written permission from AILERNOVA.
Screen record, screenshot, or otherwise capture video lessons or any other premium content and share or distribute it outside the Platform.
Modify, translate, adapt, create derivative works from, or reverse-engineer any content or software on the Platform.
Use any content from the Platform for commercial purposes, including tutoring services, coaching classes, resale, or public broadcast, without explicit written authorisation.
Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or other proprietary rights notices on the Platform.
Frame or link to the Platform in a manner that creates a false impression of affiliation or endorsement.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

8.1 General Obligations

By accessing our Platform, you agree to use it responsibly, respectfully, and in accordance with all applicable laws. You agree that your use of the Platform will be exclusively for lawful, legitimate educational purposes.

8.2 Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules thereunder.
Engage in any activity that is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, its servers, databases, or connected systems.
Introduce, upload, or transmit viruses, malware, spyware, ransomware, or any other harmful software or code.
Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated scripts to access, extract, or interact with the Platform without authorisation.
Impersonate any person (including another student, educator, or AILERNOVA employee) or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, access control, or digital rights management features of the Platform.
Harvest, collect, or store personal information of other users without their express consent.
Post, upload, or share any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of AILERNOVA or any third party.
Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account simultaneously.

9. AI-Generated Content — Special Terms

9.1 Nature of AI Content

AILERNOVA employs advanced artificial intelligence systems to generate educational video content, practice questions, learning summaries, and other materials aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The use of AI allows us to provide scalable, personalised, and regularly updated content across all subjects and grades from Grade 3 to Grade 12.

9.2 Accuracy and Limitations

While our AI systems are designed and trained to produce accurate, curriculum-relevant content, AI-generated material may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, oversimplifications, or unintended omissions.
AI-generated content is produced programmatically and is subject to the inherent limitations of machine learning technology.
All AI-generated content is intended to serve as a supplementary educational resource. It must not be treated as the sole or definitive reference for CBSE examination preparation.
Students, parents, and educators are strongly encouraged to cross-verify important facts, concepts, and numerical answers with official CBSE textbooks and qualified teachers.

9.3 Human Review

AILERNOVA employs a team of subject matter experts and educators who review and quality-check AI-generated content on a regular basis. However, given the volume of content produced, not all content may be individually verified before publication.

9.4 Feedback and Corrections

If you identify an error or inaccuracy in any AI-generated content on the Platform, we encourage you to report it immediately at admin@ailernova.com. We are committed to reviewing and correcting reported issues as swiftly as possible.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is critically important to us. The collection, use, and protection of your personal information — particularly that of our student users — are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By accepting these Terms, you also accept our Privacy Policy in its entirety.

11. Third-Party Links, Services, and Content

The Platform may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites, applications, or services for informational or supplementary educational purposes.
AILERNOVA does not own, operate, control, or endorse any third-party website, product, or service, and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, terms, or accuracy.
Accessing any third-party links is done entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy policy and terms of any third-party site before engaging with it.
AILERNOVA shall not be liable for any harm or damage resulting from your interaction with third-party websites, applications, or services.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

12.1 As-Is Basis

The AILERNOVA Platform and all Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12.2 No Guarantee of Results

AILERNOVA does not guarantee any specific academic outcomes, grades, examination scores, or learning milestones as a result of using the Platform.

12.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, AILERNOVA, its directors, officers, employees, partners, affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for any:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Loss of data, goodwill, profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
Damages arising from reliance on inaccurate or incomplete AI-generated content.
Interruption or unavailability of the Platform or Services.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AILERNOVA and its directors, officers, employees, partners, agents, licensors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms.
Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Platform.
Any misuse of account credentials under your control.

14. Termination

14.1 Termination by AILERNOVA

AILERNOVA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

Violation of these Terms or our policies.
Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
Non-payment of applicable subscription fees.
Failure to comply with parental consent requirements for minor accounts.

14.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform and access any content immediately ceases. AILERNOVA shall have no obligation to retain any data associated with your account except as required by applicable law or our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through mutual discussion. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India).

15.3 Jurisdiction

Subject to the arbitration clause above, any legal proceedings arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.

17. Modifications to These Terms

Your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your unconditional acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to any revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the AILERNOVA Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and AILERNOVA with respect to your use of the Platform, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations, whether oral or written.
